The view is just the beginning

An aerial view of four geodesic dome cabins arranged in a circular pattern on a dirt pathway in a rural, semi-arid landscape with sparse vegetation and a forested area in the background.
  • Four geodesic domes, each named for a peak in the surrounding Absaroka Range. Private, fully equipped, and designed to do one thing well — hold you gently while the landscape does its work.

  • The Wellness Heart of the Property:  The Glass Studio Dome sits at the heart of the property, surrounded on all sides by mountains. Thirty feet of geodesic glass designed for yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound, and stillness. Step outside and the wellness continues — barrel sauna, cold plunge, and a walking labyrinth that returns you to yourself one slow step at a time. Whatever your practice, this place will deepen it.

  • Gateway to Untamed Wilderness- Yellowstone's East Gate is thirty miles away — the quietest, wildest entrance to the park, where grizzlies, moose, and bighorn sheep outnumber the crowds. The Shoshone National Forest is just up the road, with hundreds of miles of trails in every direction. The North Fork of the Shoshone River runs through the valley, offering some of Wyoming's finest fly fishing. Horseback riding, river rafting, cycling, and swimming are all within reach. Each dome is stocked with a locally curated hiking guide so you can find your trail the moment inspiration strikes. The adventure is entirely yours to design.

Continuing a Tradition of Journeying into the Wild

This land has long been a place of departure and devotion. In the early 1900s, it served as the staging ground for Ned Frost — one of Wyoming's most legendary guides and outfitters — whose expeditions into Yellowstone set out from this very ground. Guides, horses, and travelers gathered here before stepping into one of the wildest landscapes in North America. The original cabin from that era still stands on the property today, a quiet witness to everyone who has passed through on their way to something larger than themselves.

The land changed hands over the decades, eventually becoming a church retreat and Boy Scout camp for a Welsh family who renamed it Calon Lân — after the beloved Welsh hymn, meaning simply, Pure Heart.

In their hands this ground became a place of community, faith, and the kind of stillness that only wild country can hold. The spirit of sanctuary was already here long before we arrived.

When we found this place, we kept the name — just translated it. Pure Heart Retreat is the next chapter in a long story of people coming to this ground to be changed by it. Adventure and spirit have always lived here together. We simply built something worthy of both.

    Loved the dome!

The views were amazing, including the stars at night. We loved the morning yoga class with Taylor and felt very rejuvenated when we left.

One of the best experiences I've had!

This is one of the few places I've stayed at where the pictures actually don't do it any justice. I could stay here and just stare at the beautiful landscape around it all day, it does not get old. Being able to see the night sky in the dome was amazing as well. Would stay here again given the chance, one of the best experiences I've had!
