Pure Heart sits, quite literally, at the heart of one of the greatest adventure landscapes in North America. Yellowstone, the Shoshone National Forest, the Shoshone River, and the town of Cody are all within reach, making the valley a natural base for as much or as little as you want.
01.Explore Yellowstone National Park
30 miles from the retreat via the East Gate entrance.
Pure Heart sits twenty minutes from Yellowstone’s East Entrance, the quietest and arguably most beautiful entrance to the park. Grizzly Bears, Moose, Elk, Big Horn Sheep, and Mule Deer are often spotted near the East Gate.

Hiking

Shoshone National Forest surrounds the property with hundreds of miles of trails- from easy valley walks to demanding summit routes. An excellent local hiking guide is provided in each dome.
Swimming
Buffalo Bill Reservoir, 4808 North Fork Hwy. Also: Buffalo Bill Dam & Visitor Center.
Cliff jumping and swimming in such a dramatic setting make it easy to ignore how cold the water is. The Shoshone river has still pools to float and feel the energy of the ever moving waters.
